Gift of Gratitude Lasting Legacy Plan: Mark Baiada and family transformed BAYADA Home Health Care into a not for profit organization to perpetuate our mission and ensure that it thrives for generations to come. When considering his succession plan, BAYADA Home Health Care Founder and Chairman Mark Baiada realized that the company’s future relies on sustaining and nurturing its commitment to our culture and to each other, so he made the decision to transition the company into a not for profit organization. Unprecedented in the industry, this transition is a natural step in our journey to ensure that BAYADA’s mission, purpose, and business model will endure, and to help BAYADA realize our vision of helping millions of people worldwide experience a better quality of life at home. Mark now serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and David Baiada, who has worked with the company since 2002, assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer in August 2017. This restructuring of BAYADA into a not for profit reflects the combined purpose of helping people live safely at home with comfort, independence, and dignity; promoting BAYADA’s vision of making the highest quality home health care available to everyone, worldwide; and ensuring that good people who are called to a higher level of serving always have a place of value at BAYADA.
